   Biography
Mohasin khan, the prodigly sitarist, was born in Dharwad on 9th August 1992. He is the 7th Generation sitarist in the illustrious family of the Beenkar Gharana of Indore. His great grandfather, Sitar Ratna Rahimat Khan was the innovator of the contemporary sitar.

At the age of 5 Mohasin’s grandfather the late Ustad Abdul Karim Khan invited him into the magical realm of the sitar.

Further tutored by his father Ustad Hameed Khan,young Mohasin has blossomed into a mature sitarist.     

  He is the sitarist with a commanding and melodious touch.The rich heritage finds full expression in his music purity, inquisitiveness and wonder mark his personality. This trait flows in his music.
