Purohit is well known classical vocal artist of Vidarbha (Nagpur) . He is indian classical vocal
musician . He was doctorate in music & master of fine arts university & abroad . He has two son's names are Vibhas & malhar . Vibhas is
engineer & malhar is Guitar artist (The new name is Mohan - veena) . Malhar ji Purohit has captured the unique style of " Gayaki Ang " of senia gharana & devoloped the melodies & seasoned playing of instrumental recital Mohan - Veena. Malhar ji is connected to a Musician family . The young & dynamic budding artist of senia gharana ,who is completely devoted to Indian Classical Instrumental Music.
Malhar ji started his musical career under the guidelines of his father Dr. Bal Purohit under the Guru - Shishya parampara . As a student of the A.B.G.M.Mandal, Mumbai Malhar ji is an ideal disciple of Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt . Recently, he is
disciple of Pt. Shri . Shankar A. Bhattacharya .
