Manish Pingle
   Biography
A strong urge to create quality music and rich sound, Manish experimented with altering the string arrangements and varying his playing techniques. Inspired by Masters like Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, and Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya, and Taalim and blessings from his Gurus, Manish developed a unique right hand picking style, blending it with powerful left hand slides. His mastery over the development of a Raga and the intricacies of Taal comes from the years he spent studying with his Guru, the sitar maestro, Ustad Shahid Parvez.

   Career
Manish is an approved artist of All India Radio and Television.
He has collaborated with the Saxophone Maestro George Brooks and performed with him on many occasions. Besides performing in many prestigious music festivals in India, Manish has also performed in various countries like Spain, Sweden, France, and China.

Manish is a highly qualified sound engineer from the most prestigious film school of India, FTII, Pune.  With his knowledge of sound and music, Manish is frequently invited to film schools to conduct workshops. Manish has also worked on various feature films and documentary projects as a sound designer.

   Awards & Achievements
Manish was awarded the Title ‘SURMANI’ by Sur Sringar Samsad, Mumbai, and the First prize in Yuva Sangeet and Nritya Mahotsava, SCZCC in 1992. He has won many accolades performing Solos, Duets and Fusion concerts, collaborating with fellow musicians from India and abroad. 

Albums:- Manish has recorded for several music albums, one of which is ‘IN THE HOUSE OF MIRRORS’ with the French Music composer Hector Zazou.
