I am Angad Gaikwad, a dedicated Hindustani Classical Vocalist, Guru, and Harmonium accompanist with deep roots in the rich traditions of Indian classical music. With a degree in Sangeet Alankar and an M.A. in Music, I received my formal training under the esteemed guidance of Guru Pandit Shantaram Chigari in Latur, Maharashtra.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing across major cultural cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Nagpur. My musical journey has included sharing the stage with maestros such as Ustad Arshad Ali, Dr. Vikas Kashalkar, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, and Vidushi Shashwati Mandal. I’ve also contributed as a Lehra accompanist alongside legendary tabla players including Pt. Anindo Chatterjee and Pt. Raghunath Nakod.
I am proud to be the father and Guru of Nandini and Anjali Gaikwad, both acclaimed reality show winners and rising stars in Indian music. Currently based in Pune, I continue to teach and guide aspiring vocalists, preserving and promoting the timeless heritage of Hindustani Classical Music
