Hindustani Classical Sarod rendition (Sarod Vadan) by Pradeep Kumar Barot. Pradeep Kumar Barot has established himself as one of the leading Indian classical musicians of his generation, and is the director of music of the Films Division Mumbai.

Pradeep Kumar Barot is a disciple of Padma Bhushan Smt. Annapurna Devi, the daughter of the legendary Padma Vibhushan Ustad Allauddin Khan Baba (founder of Maihar Gharana).
Pradeep comes from a family of musicians. His grandfather Pandit Rodji Barot, was a renowned Sarangi player, and a court musician at Ratlam State. His father, Shri Mohanlal plays the flute, clarionet, saxophone and harmonium and his uncle Shri. ratanlal is a well known Table player.
He initially studied under his father and Shri. Sarodist Vasant Rai, a disciple of Baba, before becoming a disciple of Smt. Annapurna Devi. Paradoxically enough, Pradeep's approach to traditional and highly creative. The rich and soulful sound of Pradeep's sarod touches the very heart of the listeners in a moment, transporting them from the mundaneness of their everyday existence into the world of sublime bliss.
Pradeep has performed both in India and abroad. His mission is to carry on the venerable tradition of Maihar Gharana.
