Over the years, Gaurie has emerged as a dancer with great promise having performed solo at some of the most prestigious festivals including Chakradhar Samaroh in Chhatisgarh, Mahabalipuram Dance Festival in Tamil Nadu, Taj Mahotsav in Agra, Ganga Mahotsav and Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh in Varanasi, Legends of India Festival at Kamani Auditorium, among many others. She has also performed at Festival of Indian Classical Dance in Oslo- Norway.

Gaurie has had the unique privilege of being trained in two majestic dance forms-the grammatically exacting Bharatnatyam and the lyrical Odissi --under the tutelage of leading gurus and major exponents over the last 20 years. Gaurie's training in Odissi has been under Guru Ipsita Behoora in the Kelucharan Mohapatra style of Odissi. Gaurie learnt Bharatnatyam from PadmaVibhushan Guru Yamini Krishnamoorthy.

An empanelled artiste of DoorDarshan- the national broadcaster, Gaurie's performances have drawn applause from audiences and appreciation from critics. She has been featured in some of the prominent media publications and broadcast as a bright emerging talent including Business India, The Hindu, Tribune, Statesman, Doordarshan and AajTak.
An economist by training, Gaurie has an impressive academic track record and is an alumna of the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College and the Delhi School of Economics. She is presently News Editor with the Times of India group.
