Biography

Ananya Mukherjee has performed widely throughout the country and has taken part in various dance programmes and festivals with her Guru or as an individual performer.

* Ananya won the best award in All India Multi-Lingual Children/ Youth/ Women’s play/ Dance Competition 2012, Member of CID - International Dance Council UNESCO, Paris organised by Theatre Movement, Cuttack, Orissa.

Ananya Mukherjee one renitent classical Odissi dancer among the storts of tomorrow. In her childhood she had an extensive training in the Kathak dance style for over six years from Smt. Keya Chanda. Later attracted by the grace and pose of the Odissi dance form, she took initial training in Odissi under Smt. Guru Sutapa Talukdar. Now she is receiving training from Smt. Kakoli Bose. Recently Ananya has attended Odissi dance workshop under guidance of Mrs. Sujata Mohapatra, daughter-in-law of the late legendary Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
