Born on August 12th, 1976 Anant Joshi began musical training from father Pt. Achyut Joshi at the tender age 10 and he has committed excellence in performance by valuable guidance from Pt. Vishwanath Kanhere.
Anant completed graduation in Economics from University of Mumbai. Also achieved SANGEET ALANKAR in harmonium from AKHIL BHARATIYA GANDHARV MAHAVIDYALAY MANDAL, MIRAJ.
Anant Joshi started his career by achieving top ranking almost in all instrumental competitions in Mumbai and Maharashtra and inter collegiate competition of Mumbai university in 1995and 1996. He was also contingent leader of Mumbai university cultural group for national youth festival and won nation trophy in 1995-96.

Anant Joshi is a B high graded artist in All India Radio and Doordarshan.
Anant Joshi has given outstanding solo performances in major cities like Mumbai Nashik, Pune, Belgaon, Akola, Nagpur, Sangli, Murud Janjira, including Jugalbandis with instrument like Flute, Sitar, Violin, etc. He was also invited to participate in HARMONIUM SAMMELAN for performance at Mumbai, Belgaum, Ratnagiri.
Anant Joshi has accompanied stalwarts like Late. Smt. Shobha Gurutu, Smt. Padma Talvalkar, Smt. Archana Kanhere, Smt. Aasha Khadilkar, Smt. Arti Ankalikar, Smt. Ashwini Bhide, Smt. Kalapini Komkalli, Smt. Manjiri Asnare, Smt. Shruti Sadolikar, Smt. Savani Shende, Shri. Rahul Deshpande, Manjusha Patil, Pt. Yashawnatabua Joshi, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt. Suresh Wadkar, Pt. For international concerts, Anant Joshi has accompanied recognized artists like Pt. Prabhakar Karekar to USA, Shrutitai Sadolikar to Switzerland, Marina Aalam Nepal. He also attended classical dance workshop conducted by Pt. Birju Maharajji as harmonium accompanist.
Anant Joshi has played harmonium on TV channels like ETv Marathi- Mazhe jivan gane, Mi Marathi - Punha ekda tak dhina dhin ZEE Marathi - ALAP, etc. He has also conducted full schedule for ZEE MARATHI SA RE GA MA PA as a MUSIC ARRANGER.
As a music composer, Anant Joshi published CDs and VCD like Sanjlaxmi, Zim Phula Zim, Shimpalyatale Moti, Tuje Naam Gauata, Mahalaxmi Vratkatha, Swami Samarth Jagar, Shri Temde Swami, Arati Sangraha etc. with popular singers such as Vaishali Samant, Mrudula Dadhe-Joshi, Ravindra Sathe.
Anant's experience in commercial theatres like Music Direction (Hip hip hurrey, aali aali geli geli) background music One act plays (swat, prema tuzyach sathi and police hawaldar.)
