Shriram Hasabnis is one of India’s leading Harmonium exponents, celebrated for his exceptional accompaniment and soul-stirring solo performances in Hindustani classical music. With over 25 years of active performance experience at prestigious national and international concerts, Shriram's artistry continues to leave an indelible mark on audiences and fellow musicians alike.
Born into a musical family, Shriram’s early training began under the loving guidance of his father Shri Suresh Hasabnis, who recognized his innate musical talent at a young age. His formal training in Hindustani classical vocal music was under the tutelage of Late Pt. G.V. Dandekar of the Gwalior Gharana. His musical foundation was further enriched under Sangeetacharya Pt. D.V. Kanebuwa of Ichalkaranji.
However, the true turning point in Shriram's musical journey was his dedicated tutelage under Late Padmashri Pt. Tulsidas Borkar, one of India’s greatest harmonium maestros. It was here, through the deep-rooted Guru-Shishya parampara, that Shriram refined his craft and emerged as a master of the harmonium.
