Ankit Pahadiya – a young bright performer with the unique style. He displays the attractive technique based on the western ballet, eastern marital arts, particularly on Mayurbhanj dance from Orissa. This art form based on traditional martial art: warriors reproduce the martial movements in a most graceful way as a means of entertainment and celebration displaying the heroic array of attack and defense movements group dance .
Some of items he performes in pure traditional version. For others he gives the innovative viewing and creative compositions. Ankit Pahadiya learns the Mayurbhanj style since 2006 under the guidance of Guru Janmey Joy Sai Babu. He has been striving to promote and develop Chhau with the blessings of his Guru. He also got training from Guru Sadashiv Pradhan in Bhubaneshver and improve his knowledge in such centers for Chhau study as Rairangpur and Bariparda.
As well he has an experience in Indian contemporary dance as a member of Bhoomika creative dance center (Mentors: Bharat Sharma and Tripura Kashyap) for three years.

and international performances in classical and modern dance.
