Sachin a young artist from Aurangabad though was studying for formal education. His inclination was towards “music”. At a little late stage of his age ,at seventeenth year he started learning from his first music teacher Shri Vishwanath Dashrathe in his music school at Aurangabad. He successfully passed his five level exams of Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal.
Then he started learning more from his guru Shri. Jagdish Godse and Pandit Nath Neralkar.At that time he was attracted towards North Indian classical music Sachin,being a good listener,was always listening Indian classical music and that was a period when he was passionately attracted towards the singing style of the Mewati Gharana of Sangeet Martanda Pandit Jasraj ji.To bring the dreams in reality, he started assimilating the singing and style of Mewati Gharana from the disciple of Pandit Jasraj and the guru and mother of well known young artist Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar, Mrs.Shobha Abhyankar at Pune.
In the mean while,he completed his graduation in commerce from the University at Aurangabad. Then he complited his M.A.in music at Pune University under the guidance of his guru Mrs.Shobha Abhyankar. While staying at Pune he participated in many state and national level music competitions and acquired success.The most important thing during these competitions was that,he got opportunity to meet,discuss with well-known and colossus artists and take guidance from them.
Initially, sachin learned from Shri. Jagdish Godse and hence though he belongs to Mewati Gharana singing, he is also influenced by the singing style of Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki.
During many musical programs Sachin has performed with Pt. Shaunak Abhisheki, Pt. Vijay Koparkar, Mrs.Anuradha Marathe, Dr.Salil Kulkarni, Swapnil Bandodkar, Suvarna Mategaonkar and many other well-known great artist in the fields of classical and light music.
As well as through the medium of his ‘Dhyas Performing Arts’.He use to give training and teaches classical and light music.The students from the age of 8 to 80 years are the parts of his academy.As he keeps varieties in his programs, in the same way he arranges and conducts various types of training activities for his students.
One of the best activities of ‘Dhyas’ is Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Mahotsav. The purpose behind this concert is his faith on Pandit Abhisheki and the desire to increase the popularity of classical music.The residents of Aurangabad and in the vicinity nearby always experience this best concert,the well known artists from all over India.
Along with a good organizer and event manager Sachin is also a composer.He has created and composed 25 to 30 compositions like bandish & taranas in popular non popular ragas.He has composed only in classical music,hence he can be called as ‘Vagyeykar’. As well as he has composed some Abhangas and group songs (samoohgeeta) with his politeness,sachin says that “I have not created or composed these songs and compositions but it only got happened,that’s all”.
