Amrish Mishra is a singer. He sings filmi songs, ghazals, bhajans. He has good command even on Pop singing and folk songs. As he is a classical vocal student he even sings Light classical songs which are appreciated by many people.
Amrish Mishra started learning since 1993 from eminent classical vocalists duo Pt. Rajan & Pt. Sajan Mishra. Before that i.e. from 1989 to 1993 he was under the guidance of classical vocalist Smt. Anita Roy at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra & privately. He got Sangeet Shiromani, (two year diploma in Hindustani classical music) from the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts of Delhi University. He has performed on several occasions, received guidance from other maestros of light music like Messers Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, Rajender (& Neena) Mehta etc.
