Santosh Ghante is a young and promising Harmonium player, pakhawaj player and music composer. He is the disciple of internationally renowned Harmonium maestro late Pt. Appasaheb Jalgaonkar. Appaji is the first harmonium maestro who won the SANGEET NATAK ACADEMY Award for harmonium. Santosh has learned for seven years under Appaji’s mastery. He has composed many songs for various albums, serials, and movies.
He belongs to a non-music family. He does lot of hard work for learning harmonium. He has completed his education in Night School and college. He has done many odd jobs and worked as a music teacher in Amrita Vidyalay Nigdi and Global Indian International School, pune.
Santosh Ghante has performed in various music conferences in Port Louis (Mauritius), Vasco (Goa), Mumbai, Karwar (Karnataka), Ahmedabad (Gujrat), Amritapuri (Kerala), and Delhi.
