Maneesha Halder is a rising talent in the horizon of Odissi Dance. Her introduction to Odissi took place under the guidance of renowned dansuse Srimati Sutapa Talukdar followed by the tutelage of Odissi exponent Padmashree Madhavi Mudgal. She pursued ’Visharad’ from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya,New Delhi and was honoured with prestigious CCRT SCHOLARSHIP in this dance form.
She performed extensively on various prestigious platforms like
1. Unity in Diversity, Shilparamam (Hyderabad)
2. Indradhanush (ICCR),Delhi
3. Ananya Dance Festival,Delhi
4. Khajuraho Dance Festival
5.UDAYAN 2017, India International Centre, New Delhi among many within the country.
She represented India solely in the First Asian Youth Cultural Festival, South Korea & performed in 'les nuites de fouviere', Brussels and other recitals abroad.
With a Masters In Mathematics from Lady Shriram College, University of Delhi her passion for dance acts like a sapphire on her crown of excellence.
