He is one of the promising male odissi dancer from West Bengal, have been appreciated in every performance all over India. Few of his press reviews are shared below-

~The Hindu
Odissi performances stood out on several counts. The way these artistes strove for excellence
and precision both in expression and choreographic intricacies was commendable.
With an eye for detail, every aspect of the lyric was explored threadbare bringing out its multidimensional
nuances well. Koushik Das performed ‘ Sritakamala ’ an Ashtapadi of Jayadev with verve. The descriptive shades of the composition stood well delineated in his remarkable presentation. Also, he presented ‘
Mokshya ’ a pure dance number involving complex choreographic patterns.

~The Telengana Today
The second one, a Odissi dance, was gracefully performed by Koushik Das from Kolkata,
who is a disciple of guru Rina Jana. He had performed on Abhinaya- Ahey Nila Saila and
Moksha.

~Nartaki
Koushik Das, a B.com graduate from Calcutta University, presented an Odissi recital of Ahe nila saila written by a Muslim poet Salabeg. He describes Lord Jagannath as a vast blue mountain, a stimulant elephant. The item includes depiction of Gajendra moksha, Draupadi vastraharan and slaying of Prahlada’s father Hiranyakashipu.
