Biography

As a dancer, I would like to implement all the moves in my dancing style as instructed by the Guru to convey a story to the world through facial expression and body movements and various footwork’s through Indian classical dance Kathak.

Duties:

? Involved in choosing the music, sounds and lighting for dance routines.

? Performing complex dance and traditional form of kathak dance routines to music.

? Attending auditions and casting sessions.

? Rehearsing dance movements.

? Going on tour around the country, visiting different venues.

? Choreographing dance routines.

? During a performance harmonizing physical movements to the beat of musical instruments.

? Performing in front of live audiences.

? Looking after costumes, props and equipment.

? Teaching and instructing dancing to classes.

? Performing classical dance kathak as well as to make different composition in kathak in different aspects of life.

Career

I have created a musical dance drama meera charitra for school student to denote the spiritual love of sant meera bai and showed different aspects of meera’s life.

I have created a musical dance drama along with students to recreate actual situation for 26/11 terrorist attack and memorize the devotion towards our country.

I used to perform many times one act play “varahad nighalay landanla’’ in various competitions and got several awards for that.

I have performed a classical performance along with the fusion music on beat of drum set like jugalbandi in pune festival 2005

I have performed kathak tal dharmar ,footwork and hori in pcmc music academy in diwali pahat program.

I have performed a difficult composition Dhrupad in rag bhup and tal chautal in sangit acdemy vardhapan din program which was organized by pcmc music academy

I have created a classical composition thumari which was originally sung by ustad Rashid khan “ ye ri sakhi mohe” It was denoting khandita nayika and abhisarkhi nayika in kathak.

Recently I have performed a tarana which was created by pt.birju maharaj ji a beautiful compostion with todas and different trationational bol along with footworks.

I have performed a beautiful bhajan of pt. binddin maharaj pragate brij nandalal . this bhajan shows a feeling of mother to his child ( vastalya ras ) in pcmc sangit academy vardhapan din.

Under supervision of guru Pt. Maneesha Sathe ji I have performed kathak dance “ Sitar fusion” with my class mates in group.

I have performed a shivstuti praise of lord shiva in maneesha nirtyalay annual function.

Recently I have performed ganesh vandana In diwali pahat program which was organized by pcmc sangti academy.

I have performed and directed lord gautam Buddha charitra through kathak it’s a nirtya natika which showing journey of lord gautam Buddha’s life .
