   Biography
Gayathri Subramanian started learning Bharathanatyam at the age of 4 from Guru Paramasivam. She acquired Nadanabhooshanam from SST collage of Music Trivandrum and is practising another dance forms like kuchipudi, mohiniyattam, keralanatanam, contemporary dance, kathakali, oppana, folk dance forms and thiruvathirakali. 

Gayathri received Senior Scholorship for Dance from Department of Culture, Government of India in the year 2002 Award for young artist from Guru Gopinath Trust, Kerala. Award from Sri Sri Ravisanker in the year 2006. Received Natyarathna Award from his highness Uthradam thirunal marthandavarma.

   Career
Gayathri Subramanian is performing various dance forms like Bharathanatyam , kuchupodi,mohiniyattam,keralanatanam,contemporary dance,kathakali,oppana,folk dance forms and thiruvathirakali. She has given training to the participants of the Megha Mohiniyattam Perfomance, Punarnava at Kochin organised by Art of Living [Guinness Record Show] and also participated in the same.
