I have served in Indian Army for about 35 years. I am a post graduate Electronic Engineer and Fellow of Institute of Engineer’s. During my service I have served in Kashmir and Assam for 7 yrs and 3 yrs each, in U.P. -Tibet Boarder (i.e Char-Dham area). Thus associated with Himalaya for about 17 yrs. Recently I have given talk on All India Radio, Pune, Rotary, Lions and Senior Citizen’s Clubs and Colleges on various subjects.(Some sponsored by Poona University)

I feel that with the present situation and lack of General Awareness in the country, we should understand more about our Border States specially from a soldiers point of view. The over all aim is to understand ‘Unity in Diversity’ of this great Nation and motivate ourselves to visit these places of Cultural and Religious importance. The talk on the following subjects can be in MARATHI, HINDI or ENGLISH. The talk will be for about 60-90 min aided by computer C.D. The talk can be made with (Projection arrangements to be made by your organisation) or without slide show. The topics are as under.

Colonel Arvind Vasant Joglekar after retirement has taken interest to pursue his earlier love for fine arts. In last two years he has acted in number of movies and has done modeling for renowned banks, companies, institutions and industries. So far he has done over 200 of such activities. He has done Advertisements for, some countries like Bangladesh and for American TV also, now a days he is busy in writing and also giving talk on All India radio as well as in Rotery Club, Lion’s Club, Colleges and institutions (Some sponsored by Poona University) on his experiences during and after service. His spectrum of talk varies from Middle East Asian Countries (Like Egypt, Turky, Israil etc) to Kailas Manas Sarover. His stories and articles are published in renowned newspapers and Magzines. His recently published book  ‘MERE WATAN KE LOGO’ has been very well received  by readers and its cover of Mouont MERU got a prize and its second edition is under print.
