Morsing artist, Mridangam artiste

Biography

Bejjanki V Ravi Kiran hails From a family of Musicians. He learnt playing mridangam from renowned Mridangist Late Sh. BEJJANKI KRISHNA(1959-2009), his father. Later he continued learning mridangam and morsing from Guru Sri M V Chander Shekhar Delhi and Guru Sri P.JAYABHASKAR in Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh and Guru T.R Dhandapany Delhi . Currently he is playing morsing at various shows in different cities but will soon start performing with mridangam as well.
He has performed morsing for prestigious organizations like Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi where in I performed for SANGEET PRATIBHA a festival for young musicians in NAINITAL 2011.
I also performed at the INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR PRAGATI MAIDAN in 2011 with Guru Sri P.JAYA BHASKAR. He recently performed at DELHI TAMIL SANGAM, INDIA INTERNATIONAL CENTER NEW DELHI and also got the opportunity to perform with PADMABHUSHAN YAMINI KRISHNA MURTHI's students, where he played GHATAM (Clay Pot) for a Bharatanatyam arangetram of one of her students at Chinmaya Center for world understanding Lodhi Road.
I Have performed for lecture demonstrations on Indian Classical Music by D.U Professor P.B KANNA KUMAR at Centre for Cultural Resources and Training(CCRT) Dwarka and also attended Tyagaraja aradhana and played morsing to dedicate music to Lord Thyagaraja Swami.
On the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti I played morsing at Jaipur Ayyappa Temple with some of the most renowned artistes in Delhi like Dr. T.V Manikandan, N.Padmanabhan and so on.also performed for doordarshan. Also Performed with "ADVAITA", one the famous bands in delhi in collaborative work of carnatic , hindustani, western music fusion with Sudha Raghuraman and G Raghuraman one of the leading artistes in delhi in Vriddhi evolution Festival organised by Zorba and The Kuchipudi Dance Academy. Recently Performed at HIFA (Haryana institute of fine arts ) festival in Chandigarh with a Renowned Tabla Player , Sudhir Pandey ji
