   Biography
Smt.Gayatri Pramod Tonapi (formerly Ms.Gayatri Gudi) is a young and dynamic artist of Kirana Gharana completely devoted to Hindustani Vocal. She has been trained in the Guru-Shishya tradition under her father and guru late Pt. Madhav Gudi who is the senior most disciple of Pt.Bhimsen Joshi. She started learning Music at the tender age of three. 

She has a sweet yet powerful voice. She is one of those rare singers, who can explore the full range of her voice. Her style of performance brings out the very essence of Kirana Gharana to the fore. Her singing combines both the traditional learning and a rich imagination taking the listener on a memorable musical journey. 
She has given many performances all over India and in U.S.A with an overwhelming response from the audience. Her performance has also been telecasted in popular TV Channels including Udaya TV and most recently in Doordarshan’s Chandana TV, where she sang classical ragas as well as Bhajans by Purandara Dasa.

   Career
Gayatri ji has given many performances all over India and in U.S.A with an overwhelming response from the audience. Her performance has also been telecasted in popular TV Channels including Udaya TV and most recently in Doordarshan’s Chandana TV, where she sang classical ragas as well as Bhajans by Purandara Dasa.
