Biography
Srinjoy Mukherjee is the very talented and devoted upcoming sarod player of the SENIA BANGASH GHARANA.
He was born in a highly enriched musical family.one of his grandfather PANDIT BIBHUTIBHUSHAN MUKHERJEE
was a pakhwaz player. Inspired by his father SHRI RAMAKANTA MUKHERJEE he started learning SAROD under
the guidance of DIPTESH BHATTECHARYA at the age of five.
SRINJOY GAVE his first public performances at the age of ten.Latter he was groomed by PANDIT KAMAL MULLICK
and was a general student of KOLKATA SANGEET RESEARCH ACADEMY.
At present Srinjoy is a GANDA BANDHAN STUDENT of USTAD AMAAN ALI KHAN & he also
gets advice from THE SAROD-SAMRAT, PADMABIBHUSHAN USTAD AMJAD ALI KHAN.
Srinjoy completed his study from RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY, KOLKATA (MUSIC HONOURS).
HE PERFORMED IN VERIUS PLACES OF WESTBENGAL AND ALSO INDIA.
From 2013 end to 2014 February he was completed a Concert tour At Middle East Countries.
Srinjoy had done a lot of experimental “JUGALBANDI” with Different music instruments and
vocals, like Sarod-santoor, Sarod-Piano&synthesizer, Sarod-flamencoGuitar, Sarod-vocal, Sarod-pareddrums etc.
Recently “RealNet BroadBand”--- A BroadBand Internet Service Provider Of WestBengal Suggested Srinjoy Mukherjee
As A Brand Ambassador Of their Company and also they are going to promote him in a Television Advertisement !!!
