Priyanka Chhabra is an International Kathak Dancer and a National (CCRT) Scholarship Holder in Kathak Dance. She is a Doordarshan graded artiste and a Post Graduate in Kathak from IKSV, Khairagarh University. Priyanka recently went to Europe through ICCR, Ministry of Culture, Government of India covering 'International Folklore Festival' in Romania and 'Days of Indian Culture' in Bulgaria to represent India globally through Kathak Dance Style. She has been actively performing for Sangeet Natak Akademi, ICCR, CCRT of Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Sahitya Kala Parishad, Government of NCT of Delhi on various occasions such as Bharat Parv at Red Fort, Celebration of 'Azadi ke Rang Bal Kalakaron Ke Sang' at Sahitya Akademi, 'Delhi Kathak Mahotsava' at Kathak Kendra, Youth Festival and many more. She also did a television shoot for DD National of Doordarshan. RaagRanjani - Forum for Music and Dance presented her with 'Budding Artist Talented' award. Modern Convent School, Dwarka honoured her with a 'Special Award for Excellence in Classical Dance'. An alumni of Bharati College, University of Delhi, President of Mridang Society of Performing Arts (2019-20), Priyanka also received 'Best Dancer' award by the college. She had presented Bharati College and won many competitions in the field of Indian Classical Dance form in Solo category during her days of graduation in Delhi University. Priyanka had participated in many National and International Seminars, Conferences, and Festivals, notable, Vasantotsava-Pt. Birju Maharaj Dance Festival, Noida Sanskriti Mahotsava, Indo-Georgian Culture Festival, and conducted Workshops (notable) at NNKB Dance and Music Academy, Georgia and Gorj County Museum, Targu Jiu, Romania. Priyanka is a keen practitioner of Kathak; disseminate her knowledge by conducting classes (both online & offline) in India and other countries like USA, Canada, UAE, Australia, Thailand and many more. Her aspirational vision is to create a well informed society conscious of Indian Classical Art forms.
