Aditya Shanker
   Biography
Aditya Shanker is disciple of Pt. Sarit Das who is direct disciple of Pt. Shankar Ghosh and Guru Gyan Prakash Ghosh of Farukkhabad Gharana. He commenced his tabla training at an age of 11 and learnt for 17 years. Aditya has also inclination towards western music and learnt Piano from Delhi School of Music. He did graduation from prestigious BITS-Pilani.

1) Invited to perform in prestigious locations like Delhi International Art Festival, Bahai House of Worship (Lotus Temple), Art of Living International Centre, Bangalore.

3) Received Master of Science in Physics and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the premier institute of India, BITS-Pilani along with music courses. Represented India in RoboCup 2011 Istanbul-Turkey, world's largest competition in robotics . Media report link is

2) Awarded 'Sangeet Bhushan' from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in Tabla.

3) Received senior diploma in Tabla from Prayag University, Allahabad with distinction. 

4) Topper of 'Musicology' and 'Appreciation of Indian Classical Music' course during college.
