Dr Sudhir Mathur is a Sitarist of Senia Maihar Gharana. He is a retired Professor of music of Ajmer Music College and Director of Kala Bharti. Dr Sudhir learnt from his father Pt Ramlal Mathur (Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee) who was among the senior most disciples of Sarod Maestro Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ali Akbar Khan
