Biography

This is about Sri Badari Divya Bhushan & Dr.Smt Anjana Bhushan, an accomplished ,well groomed Young Bharatanatyam dance artist couple from INDIA, trained under stalwarts like Vyjayanthimala Bali.

Bhushan is the grand son of the great film star Sri Kalyan Kumar! (Kannada & tamil)

(Bhushan is known more as KRISHNA, as he has essayed this character more than 600 times with many dancers & Film stars)

They are traditional classical dancers , trained in Bhartanatyam, yoga kalaripayyatu & contemporary dances. They have performed at several national and International festivals live as well as recorded at various prestigious festivals and sabhas as well as for foreign groups , colleges , universities, and corporate sectors.They are known for their crisp Nritta, Profound abhinaya and elegant stage presence.

They present solo, duet, as well as group choreography.They have conducted many workshops and lectures on various aspects of Indian culture and dance forms.They have Judged many competitions, and have been Examiners for Vidwath Board exams conducted by Karnataka secondary education board since last 8 yrs. They have taught over 8000 students so far .They are also one of the committee members for the prestigious Mysore Dasara mahotsav.

They also have the credit of organizing 8 National dance festivals at Mysore through t the year since 2005, creating platforms and encouraging young upcoming talent in the field of dance!!!

They present different thought provoking classical/contemporary dance themes in front of the august audience,with lecture demonstrations. They have conducted many workshops, and choreographed for many dancers, actors, stars and corporates.

Career

Badari Divya Bhushan, a person with an unusual name and a colourful persona, hails from the princely city of Mysore. Born in a culturally rich family, he also happens to be the grandson of yester years glamour star of Kannada and Tamil cinema Sri. Kalyan Kumar.

Gifted with incredible talent and a vast flair for Indian art and culture, dance and art come naturally to Bhushan, as he is fondly called. Having been groomed by stalwarts, Gurus Smt. Vyjantimala Bali and Smt. Vasundhara Doreswamy, Bhushan is now an established Bharatanatyam artiste and an eminent guru himself.

Having performed in several prestigious National & International dance & Art Festivals and sabhas all over the country, Bhushan has left his audiences awe struck and has received widespread acclaim and appreciation for his immense talent. Bestowed with a handsome physique and vibrant persona, Bhushan has successfully donned several historic and mythological characters gracefully and aesthetically. His presentations have gained widespread popularity for the incredible choreography, elaborate and colorful costumes, and totally out of the world, heavenly, make up. Highly talented, Bhushan holds the credit for designing costumes, composing music & scripting all his presentations. A versatile and creative choreographer, Bhushan gives lot of importance to vigor, precision and co-ordination, be it classical or contemporary presentations. He has been featured on many TV channels and is quite a well known name!

Bhushan is a fashion designer by profession. Academically he holds B. F. D degree (Fashion designing and Fashion Arts) from NIFT (Delhi) and M. F. D from Design School, Bangalore. He is a very well known name in the field of fashion and is the back bone for his dream venture “Designers galore” which is an outlet to his creations. He is also the youngest recipient of “Designer of the Year, 97” award bestowed on him by “Shoppers Stop” Bangalore. Having worked with many top models and actresses of the country, He is a versatile choreographer to many of his Designer shows. He owns a label of his own (BHUSHAN’S ORIGINALS) which can be spotted at top most fashion outlets in India.Bhushan has a vast flair to experiment with colors and is known for creativity, precision and neatness.
