Biography

Bonala Sankara Prakash is a Madhura Vainika blessed by genes tradition and environment. In a village 'Penugollu' of S. Rayavaram Mandalarm in Visakhapatnam District in Andhra Pradesh. The ancestral homes of Bonala Sankara Prakash hosted the spiritual clossers, great seer of Kanchi Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Suraswathi Swamygal. Sankant Prakash was born on 4th October 1966 to Smt. & Sri Bonala Ramani & Japnnadhatit who are Voco Veena Vidwans. Sankara started playing Veena at a tender age of 5. His father has been the source of inspiration front the beginning & also the Guru in training the art of music.

Career

Sankara started his concerts carrier from his 9 years of age. Having his skills perceptually, he has been playing in various reputed sabhas all over the Country. Teaming with his Hindustani counter parts, he gives splendid Jugalbandis too. He gaves National & south zone programs both in AIR & TV.

Innovative Flourishes : Sonorous articulation of numerous notes in a single fret with skillful stretch of the string and dexterity in finger technique, exquisite command over the instrumental and the inherent gayaki style make his performance an enchanting experience.

*Thirumal Tirupathi Devasthanam offered to tune devotional songs & conduct music for 108 songs in audio cassettes in 'Bhajan Yagnam' project 2006.
