Voice of Mohammed Rafi

Mumbai based singer Shrikant Narayan regales music lovers with his mellifluous voice. He is known as 'Voice of Mohammed Rafi'. He has endowed with a rich, resonant baritone. He has steered his way into the hearts of music aficionados. One of the busiest artistes on stage Shrikant leaves an impact wherever he performs.

Shrikant Narayan recorded the super duper hit Marathi song 'Dol doltay waryavar ' in the album and won the double platinum disc in 1986.

Shrikant Narayan is a winner of Maharashtra State Government Award 'Kalabushan Puraskar’ for his invaluable contribution in the field of fine arts. He is the only artiste to have performed a full fledged 'Rafi Nite’ in the August presence of Mohammed Rafi's entire family. He holds Maharashtra state government bestowed the prestigious ‘ Kalabushan Puraskar‘.

Shrikant's repertoire encompasses a vast range of songs and numbers.. covering all aspects of stylized music. His demeanor and pleasant personality wins over one and all, and his goodwill with his fraternity is exemplary. He has performed more than 900 stage shows in India and abroad. He has performed with Manohari Singh, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shankar Mahadevan, Vinod Rathod, Vaishali Samant and Sudesh Bhonsale.

Known as the 'Voice of Mohammed Rafi', Mumbai based singer Shrikant Narayan regales music lovers with his mellifluous voice.

Shrikant's repertoire encompasses a vast range of songs and numbers.. covering all aspects of stylized music..his demeanor and pleasant personality wins over one and all, and his goodwill with his fraternity is exemplary.

* Has sung in theme based music programmes in the presence of legends like Naushad, Anil Biswas, Dilip Kumar, O P Nayyar, Manna Dey, Kavi Pradeep, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Hasrat Jaipuri, Qamar, Jalalabadi, Pyarelal, Khayyam, Ravi and Ameen Sayani.

* Regularly performs in Mumbai for well known music troupes like Keep Alive, Ti Ra Ki Ta Dha, Musicolor, Deepali Group of Music & Arts, Aarohi, Jeevangani, Surashri, Heart Waves, Sa Re Ga Ma, Yaad Na Jaye, Golden Greats, Sanket, Sangeet Sagar, Sur Sagar Geetika among others.

* Recorded more than 1000 private songs in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

* Sung several version songs, remixes, radio jingles and television advertisements.

* Sung the title tracks of television serials like 'Maal Hai Toh Taal Hai', 'Baap Numbari Beta Dus Numbari' and Marathi films like 'Shubhmangal Savdhan', 'Shezari Shezari' and 'Daryachi Daulat'.
