Immortal ghazals and bhajans of Mohd. Rafi. Bhajans When the heart yearns for a benign glance from the Supreme..the voice transcends the heavens and reaches out to that Divine Force..a yearning that is a clarion call for souls to wake up and accept the grace of god..and if that is sung in the meliflous voice like Rafisaab.. it crosses all the boundaries of language and distances. Rafisaab’s repertoire of Bhajans sung for films,is amazing. His pronounciation of certain Sanskritized words were better than other singers.. the purity of a clean, humble and honest soul, the feelings he imparted to each and every word and the modulation in his voice, have made these songs memorable. An enigmatic collection of romantic ballads that touches the inner core of our hearts.. a yearning for the beloved that can never be personified as Rafisaab has done.. when poetry touched Rafisaab’s heart, his voice quivered with the resonating chords of love and longing.. almost equal in its texture of his Bhajans Rafisaab's sweet voice has brought life into the sensational lyrics and outstanding music compositions of the Golden era. As the lyrics of the ghazals were quite rich, they generally captured the pensive moods of the major characters of the stories.  Voice of Mohammed Rafi
Mumbai based singer Shrikant Narayan regales music lovers with his mellifluous voice. He is known as 'Voice of Mohammed Rafi'. He has endowed with a rich, resonant baritone. He has steered his way into the hearts of music aficionados. One of the busiest artistes on stage Shrikant leaves an impact wherever he performs.

Shrikant Narayan recorded the super duper hit Marathi song 'Dol doltay waryavar '  in the album and  won the double platinum disc in 1986.

Shrikant Narayan is a winner of Maharashtra State Government Award 'Kalabushan Puraskar’ for his invaluable contribution in the field of fine arts. He is the only artiste to have performed a full fledged 'Rafi Nite’ in the August presence of Mohammed Rafi's entire family. He holds Maharashtra state government bestowed the prestigious ‘ Kalabushan Puraskar‘.

Shrikant's repertoire encompasses a vast range of songs and numbers.. covering all aspects of stylized music. His demeanor and pleasant personality wins over one and all, and his goodwill with his fraternity is exemplary. He has performed more than 900 stage shows in India and abroad. He has performed with  Manohari Singh, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shankar Mahadevan, Vinod Rathod, Vaishali Samant and Sudesh Bhonsale.
