Amol Nisal

Disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, a doyen in the field of music, Amol stepped into the world of music with confidence, clarity, consistency and technical mastery that he learnt at a very tender age.

Ever since his solo debut at seven, Amol has been performing concerts all over India and abroad.

He started learning Vocal classical music under the able guidance of Pandit Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare who was well known for his ability to nurture disciples with a very strong foundation in music.

·        Performance in the presence of Shri. Anup Jalota, in the program organized by Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune. 

·        Classical and light classical music performance in the presence of Shri. Shivraj Patil, New Delhi 

·        Toured to Australia for performances at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It was a 5 weeks tour with 9 performances 

·        Toured to Quatar for performances in Doha during Deepawali celebrations of Maharashtra Mandal 

·        Performs with his mentor Shri Anup Jalota in a special Guru-Shishya program named as ‘Aisi Laagi Lagan’ 

·        Performed at Pune Ganesh Festival 

·        Performed at Navaratri Mohotsav, Pune 

·        Performance during celebrations at Alandi Temple 

·        Performance for prestigious program at the residence of Shri. D.S. Kulakrni 

·        Performed at Sanskar Bharati Sangeet Sabha at Pune and Jalgaon. 

·        Performed at Isha Foundation Coimbatore. 

·        Performed at Kesri Wada Ganesh Festival, Pune 

·        Performances for 3 consecutive years at Saras Baag Ganesh Temple during Ganesh Festival 

·        Performed for 'Gana-Maitra', an organisation for promotion of Indian Clasical Music

§     Recipient of ‘Amol Gandharv’ at the hands of ‘Bhajan Samrat’ Shri Anup Jalota. 

§     Selected as a cultural ambassador of India to Latin American countries through a scholarship from Rotary International. Performed and spread  Indian Classical Music in those countries. 

§     Awardee under ‘Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme’ in the field of Hindustani Vocal Music by Center for Cultural Resource & Training. 

§     First Prize in the nation wide competitions held by State Bank of India for 3 consecutive years. 

§     First Prize in Kalyani Karandak Classical Vocal competitions for 2 consecutive years. 

§     First Prize in the competitions held by Pandit D.V. Paluskar Pratishthan. 

§     Featured in ‘Young Achievers’ - special edition of Citizen – a supplement of Indian Express, Pune.
