This programme has Marathi powada. Powada is a kind of ballad that narrates historical events in an inspiring manner. The composer-cum-singers of the powadas are known as Shahirs. Jagar Adishakticha has such Powada on Jijamata, Savitribai, Shrishakti, Zhashichi Rani, Umabai Dabhade etc. Also, episodes like Jijabainche Dohale, Shivbacha Palana [birth of Chatrapati Shivaji], Swarajyachi Shapath - coronation, Jijaiche Manogat, etc. This programme alos encompasses motivational & mind-awakening programs (Prabodhan) on contemporary issues like stre bhrun hatya - female foeticide, bhrashtachar nirmulan - Anti corruption, etc. Jagar Adishakticha also has dance-drama type cultural programs like - Mujara, Jogava, Gondhal, Bharud, Phatka, Vasudev & also demostration of Talwarbaji [sword play] and many many more.
