'Swapna Suranche' is a group of like-minded music-lovers from Thane. They started this melodious journey from 10th Dec 2005 on the auspicious day of Datta Jayanti.
It has always been a pursuit of 'Swapna Suranche' to present something different to its audience. They always present melodies which are not sung in any other music programs. These songs are rare but unique and treasured in the hearts of the listeners. This tryst of Swapna Suranche helped them conceptualize programs like 'Uthi Shri Rama', 'Jalad Bharuni Aale', 'Sur Antariche', 'Vismrutikosh', 'Chandane Tuzhya Smaranache' and 'Kusumagraj Darshan'.
'Swapna Suranche' has a varied audience from a private concert to public programs like Ganesh Utsav, Navratri, Diwali Pahat, etc. It is the love and blessings showered by the connoisseurs that they are now paving their way to their 100th program.
Programs of Swapna Suranche :
*Sur Antariche :- Artists who are singers as well as music directors are the focal point of Sur Antariche. This is a musical journey of soulful songs of senior artists to the upcoming ones. In this musical tour, you can listen to wide range of popular songs of from 1950s to the contemporary ones. Melodies of stalwarts like Babuji (Late Shri. Sudhir Phadke) to contemporary composers Ajay-Atul are presented in this program. We believe that singing is more of an emotional and mental process than just a physical one, hence the name 'Sur Antariche' - singing by heart and soul.
*Jalad Bharuni Ale :- This program is specially made on songs of the monsoon. Get drenched in a shower of melodies while you listen to songs like ‘Ghan Ghan Mala’, ‘Dhag DatunYeti’, ‘Chimb Bhijlele’, etc. These songs of the monsoon will bring joy to your heart.
*Vismrutikosh :- This is a program of bygone songs - songs that are classic and were very famous but have now gone to the back of the minds of people. You will feel nostalgic when you listen to such melodies in Vismrutikosh. Such happiness of the audience is a great award for the ‘Vismrustikosh’ team.
*Chandane Tuzhya Smaranache :- This program is based on songs & poetry of thoughtful poet Grace. This program unfolds the poetic journey of the incomprehensible personality of poet Grace. His great poems on sad mood are presented in Chandane tuzhya smaranache.This is a poetical tour in which you go through new and old compositions of Late poet Grace - better known as ‘The bard of sorrow’.
* Uthi Shrirama :- This program is based on songs of Lord Rama. This program not just depicts the spiritual but also the idealistic perspective of the thoughts of great Lord Rama.
*Santawani:- Santawani is a program that teaches us to strike a right chord between the spiritual and materialistic ways of life. This program brings to you devotional songs – Bharad, Abhang, Gavlan sung by famous singers like Shri. Suresh Wadkar and Shri. Sanjeev Abhyankar.
*Kusumagraj Darshan :- This program salutes the great poet Kusumagraj by bringing to you his revolutionary songs like Vedat Marathe Veer, Saranar Kadhi Ran, also songs like He Surano Chandra Vha(Natyageet), songs on nature like Hasara Nachara –Shravan Ala and poems carrying social messages like Kana, Gabhara, Raja Ala. This program is tribute to great Marathi poet Kusumagraj.
Team of Swapna Suranche :
•Mahesh Phadke: He is a civil engineer working with BMC. But, this occupation of his does not affect his passion for music. Gifted with a melodious voice, Mahesh is a singer of the Swapna Suranche group. He completed diploma in Light Music, Mumbai University and diploma in Natya Sangeet from Vidyadhar Gokhale Pratisthan.
•Radhika Paranjape: Gifted with a melodious voice, Radhika showed her singing talent from a very young age. She has also taken formal training of music upto Sangeet Visharad.
•Aditya Phadke: Aditya, a child prodigy, is one of the voices that make the songs of Swapna Suranche melodious. Though a chartered accountant by profession, his real passion is music. Aditya received training from Guru Raja Ram Shukla. He is a winner of Aao Jhume Gaaye. Aditya completed diploma in music direction under the able guidance of Anil Mohile. His album Horizon has self composed self-sung songs. Aditya also participated in Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Gazal Samelan chaired by Shri. Bhimrao Panchal.
•Saylee Namjoshi: A singer at heart, Sayali has the ability to remember the correct pitch and key of a song . She is fortunate to have received taining from a guru like Smt. Shobha Kelkar. Saylee has completed a diploma in Natya Sangeet from Vidyadhar Gokhale Pratisthan.
•Anuradha Kelkar: She is one of the melodious voices of Swapna Suranche. She is fortunate to have received training from Shruti Gokhale. She has done graduation in Arts - Sanskrit, Sangeet Visharad and also Diploma in Natya Sangeet from Vidyadhar Gokhale Pratisthan.
•Sachin Mainkar: The quietest member of the band who lets his tabla do the talking most of the time. Sachin's tabla playing reflects the great learning that he has got from his Guru Shri. Deepak Bhorapkar.
•Pramod Joshi: The man with the magic fingers, Pramod's harmonium playing reflects years of hard work and dedication to his instrument under the tutelage of Shri. Prakash Chitnis.
•Sunil Gavhankar: Give him some keys and you will be surprised. A wonderful keyboard artiste, Sunil has performed in many orchestras.
•Surendra Dabke: He is a distinguished percussionist with his awesome beats. A banker by profession, he handles the side rhythm of Swapna Suranche.
•Deepti Lele: The mistress of all programs, Deepti is the compere of Swapna Suranche. She is an RJ of FM Gold. Deepti is a news reader and anchor of the Marathi program Tejaswini on Saam TV channel. Deepti has also completed Visharad in Kathak.
•Janardan Mhatre: Compere of Swapna Suranche. Ghazal composer too. His book of gazals - Sthiyantar has been published. Janardan also is an achor with Shri. Bhimrao Panchal
