Salil is Drummer & Operations head for "Chakra" The Band. He has won BEST DRUMMER awards at Woodstock PUNE 1997, Express Youth Forum Competition (Indian Express) 2000, Battle of Bands 2004 and 20th Independence rock Mumbai 2005
He has performed in various cities like Delhi, Roorkee, Luckhnow, Barreli, Mumbai.& Abroad - DUBAI in 2009

Salil Gupte started playing rhythm instruments like Bongo, Congo, Tumba at the age of 4. Later he found drums to be irresistible which started the process for mastering drums at the age of 6. After doing small performances in school and college gatherings at the age of 16 he ventured as a freelancer with various hindi and pop bands.
