Gajar Dhol Tasha for Ganpati and other festivals

“GAJAR” itself the word inspired to music to formed our pathak name

We have formed our pathak on Sept 2012. Previously we had our own benjo party naming Jarimari Benjo Party which inspired us to introduce puneri dhol to Mumbai. We have started our pathak with 30 Members including 12 dhol, 6 tasha with one toll in the year 2012 and as per public response and appreciations our pathak successded to form 150 members & more including Boys & Girls with 52 dhol, 21 tasha with one huge toll in the year 2013. We have members from different category such as School kids, College students, job oriented people, business oriented people and house wives. We have members coming from almost all parts of Mumbai like Kandivali, Bhayander,  Bhandup, Kalwa, Dombivali. 

We have performed almost all over Mumbai  till now in which some of the famous Mandal we performed like girgaoncha Raja and Late Shree Anand Dighe Navaratra ustav, Tembi Naka, Thane, Mr Baba Diwan, Prahaar Bushan Awards.

We have total 25 numbers of different tunes to showcast our talent. We start our practise or any order by offering the prayer to our goodess shree jarimari mata with dhol tasha music saying " Ya devi sarva bhuteshu shakti rupe ni savsthita namasthase namasthase namasthase namo na maha". 

Until now we have done 2 events like “ Aawaj Girgaoncha” organized by SWAS group – Kranti nagar and Prahar bhushan award at ravindra natya mandir for which  politician like CM Prithviraj Chavan, Shree Narayan Rane, Shree Chagan bujbal and many more celebrities from Marathi film industries.
