Marami Medhi is a young dynamic and accomplished dancer from Assam, a well-known name in the field of kathak. She has received her initial training in kathak dance under the prevailing guidance of Late Charoo Bordoi, and subsequently became disciple of renowned maestro Late Sri. Surendra Saikia. Marami became excellent performer, expert Choreographer and an ideal teacher. Her solo recitals was vibrant reflection of splendid command over the electic elements of this genre of Indian classical dancer. With strong sense of rhythem and melody, and that too with complete control over the finer nuances of this dance form. Medhi depicted now a kathak dancer can touch the hearts of the common man.
