Sonali is a parent of Shri Shrikrishna Chandratre and Mrs. Sumati Chandratre. Sonali revealed many of her talents in school as a live performer, demonstrating her vocal ability with Indian classical music. She received training in classical music, light music and playback singing from her father Shrikrishna Chandratre. She learnt classical music from Mrs. Shalini Naik of Nasik. Later, she received training in singing from music director late. Shri Prabhakar Pandit in Pune. She has recorded several songs in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Rajasthani and Sindhi.
