Shoma Banerjee is a playback singer, has sung for A R Rahman in films like Taal and Saathiya. She has also sung in film jai jagannath in 16 languages. Many devotional albums have been released by tips,times,tseries,among which her Sai Raksha mantra have sold around 2lakhs copies. Shoma's remix video album "yeh hai reshmi zulfo ka",from HMV was quite noticed. Recently did playback for actress Manisha Koirala in nepali film dharma. Shoma is known for her song 'chalka chalka re' in film Saathiya
