Ø Academic qualifications:

Anuradha has many academic achievements to her credit. She is a graduate from Ferguson College Pune with English literature, French and Indian History as her main subjects. She topped the Masters examinations in Music from SNDT University Mumbai. She has received the Junior Research Fellowship from the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. She also topped the advanced diploma course of the French language from Alliance Françoise, Pune.

Ø Light Music:

Anuradha is a very competent light music singer. She is an “A” Grade artist of All India Radio.

She has performed in many prestigious Marathi light music (Sugam Sangeet) concerts viz. ‘Akhil Bharatiya Sugam Sangeet Sammelan’, ‘Shukratara’ (with Arun Date), ‘Omkar swaroopa’ and ‘Phite Andharache Jale’ with renowned singer-composer Shridhar Phadke.

She has been associated with veterans like Shri Gajananrao Watve, Smt Anuradha Marathe and Shri Rahul Ghorpade. She performed at the centenary celebration programme of veteran singer G.N Joshi.

She recently performed in two Television programmes on E TV Marathi ‘Prabhat Geete’ and ‘Garaje Krishna Teer’.

She has also worked with music composers like Chaitanya Kunte, Narendra Bhide, Raja Phatak, Ashish Mujumdar and Jeevan–Rohit.

She has recently sung for a Marathi Gazal album ‘Sobaticha Karar’ Composed by Ashish Mujumdar & a Marathi Bhaaw Geet Album ‘Akash Mogara’ Composed by Chaitanya Kunte.

Ø New Avenues:

Anuradha has been associated with many creative music programmes like-

·         Suran Gao Saras - A concert of compositions (Bandishes) like Khayal, thumri, tappa, chatarang by Chaitanya Kunte.

·         Bandish - A programme based on the compositions of Dr. Prabha Atre and Dr. Ashwini Bhide.

·         Saaz Thumricha - This programme presents the Thumri in the traditional style but with Marathi lyrics.

·         Manarangache Abhal - This is a programme presenting the poetry of great Marathi poets set to tune by Chaitanya Kunte.

·         Ramdas Padavali - A programme based on the devotional composition of Samartha Ramdas.

She recently finished a very successful tour to Australia and New Zealand. There she performed at Perth festival, Auckland festival, Wellington, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. 

Ø Awards and Scholarships:

Anuradha has been honored with several awards and scholarships. Significant among them are -

1.Dattopant Deshpande Puraskar (Awarded at Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsava, Pune) 

2.Ganhira Award, C. Ramachandra Award and Smt Mokashi Award for having topped the Master’s degree examinations in music from S.N.D.T. University, Mumbai

3.She has felicitated with ‘Paingankar Puraskar’ awarded by Pt. Jasraj Mitra Mandal, Pune

4.‘Smt Usha Atre – Wagh Puraskar’ given by Dr. Prabha Atre

5.She is a recipient of the Central Government Scholarship for two years awarded by H.R.D. Ministry, Delhi

6.Madhav Shankar Karve Scholarship (London) for one year

7.Late Sudhir Phadke Yuwonmesh Puraskar

8.‘Soor Mani’ Puraskar by Sur-Singar Sansad, Mumbai

9.Samartha Ramdas Swami Puraskar
