Anjali ji is a recipient of a fellowship, offered by the Human Resource Department, Government of India for performing artist. She is a graded artist of Aakashvani, Pune. She has been awarded Sangeet Ratna by Kashi Sangeet Samaj-Varansi and Swar Sadhna Puraskar by Gaanvardhan-Pune for her contribution in classical music. Anjali ji Malkar has achieved many awards in various music competitions like - Mahalaxmi Vishwanathan Award for music performance, award at Panvel Music Circle, Kalyan Gayan Samaj, Ganwardhan (Pune) are some of them to the name.
She has also received a scholarship for two years from Human Resources Department of Central Government as an ardent music researcher, she has contributed for 'Garbh Sanskar' and 'My Breath' the projects under taken by 'Manashakti Kendra' Lonavala.
Her dedication to make classical music appreciable to all the lovers of music, further took her in writing articles on classical music. 'Marathwadyatil Abhijat Sangeet - a book that documented 700 years history of classical music in Marathwada region of Maharashtra has been a pioneering work of this sort.
Anjali ji has also been an ever experimenting teacher and as a qualified lecturer (N. E. T qualified) she has been a visiting faculty in number of colleges, also she is a a paneled Guru in performing Arts faculty of Bharati Vidyapeeth and Mentor at Performing Arts department of M.E.S Institute, Pune.
Anjali ji is also the Director of Roop-Bandish Foundtion, an institute established for propagation of Hindustani classical music.
Anjali ji has two CD's 'Piya' and 'Abhivyakti' an expression to her credit.
