Maestro Lokesh Anand stands amongst the world’s finest, & most inspirational instrumentalists. This exceptional player started his training at the age of 8 Years under his father Shri Kalicharan, & from Pandit Anant Lal, Daya Shankar, learning basic techniques giving him a unique recognition.

Lokesh further developed vocal nuances by becoming a disciple of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj, of the “Mewati Gharana”, who became a major reason in influencing & amplifying his techniques Through the journey, he began revolutionizing, 

approaches as a Shehnai Artist, by mastering both Instrumental and Vocal Styles, having a spectacular command over his techniques showcasing clean and mature aspects of a balanced musician who not only reciprocates accordingly but, also communicates outstandingly through his Shehnai. 

Lokesh has not only built his unique style which holds a strong traditional approach but, he has also been an inspiration for many budding Shehnai Artists.
