   Biography

V. Anuradha Singh is a renowned Kathak exponent from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, celebrated as one of the foremost soloists of the Raigarh Gharana. She received a Kathak scholarship from the Government of M.P. for four years and trained under the Guru-Shishya Parampara from the eminent gurus Late Pt. Kartikram and Pt. Ramlal at the prestigious Chakradhar Centre, Bhopal.

Anuradha is a Gold Medalist in M.A. (Kathak) from Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh (1991), where she secured the first position in merit. Her debut performance was at the Festival of India in Moscow, USSR (1988), organized by the Government of India. Since then, she has emerged as a celebrated name in Indian classical dance, known for her energetic Kathak recitals, graceful presentation, and unique artistry in Ghunghroo Vadan.

V. Anuradha Singh is one of the foremost exponents of Raigarh Gharana Kathak, widely known for her powerful footwork, energetic rhythmic play, and mesmerizing ghunghroo vadan. Over her distinguished career, she has presented more than 200 prestigious solo performances at highly reputed national and international festivals. Each recital has earned her appreciation from connoisseurs and stalwarts of Indian classical dance.
