Suhasini is born in a musical family. God-gifted Suhasini is a marvel in singing and a star stage-show performer. She is a perfect blend of a whole range of music to include forms in Hindi and Marathi. She is fortunate to learn from Gurus like Pt. Ajay Pohankar and Shri. Suresh Wadkar.
Music is in Suhasini's genes. Her parents were good light classical singers & had performed on stage during 1970 to 1976 in western Maharashtra. Her legacy of music continued even after her marriage. She is married of to the son of Padmashree Shantaram ji Nandgaonkar - a very famous lyricist from the Marathi film industry. Her husband Prashant is a sound recordist and has a hi-tech recording studio in Mumbai.
She was an integral part of musical shows 'Sunahari Yadein' by Smt. Pramila Datar. Since 1989, she has formed her own group called "Rajanigandha" and has more than 1000 shows to the credit. Suhasini has accompanied the Nadeem Shravan Nite, Rajesh Roshan Nite, Ravindra jain's musical nite as a one of the leading singers (in India as well as abroad).
Not just live shows, but Suhasini has given playback to various Marathi and Hindi films and TV serials.
Suhasini loves to draw and paint. She likes to visit historical places and go around world, on invitation of fans.
