Biography

Shivani Kallianpur is a Hindustani classical vocalist and a senior disciple of Vidushi Ashwini Bhide Deshpande. With a Master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Music and an ‘A’ Grade from Doordarshan, her musical journey has been shaped by rich guidance, rooted training, and a deep connection to the raga.

Born into a music-oriented family, Shivani Kallianpur’s talent was discovered early by her grandmother, the Late Smt. Nirmala Haldipur. She is the niece of Pt. Nityanand Haldipur, renowned flautist of international acclaim. Began musical journey at the age of five under Pt. Dharmadhikari.

She has the privilege of performing across various platforms and conducting music workshops, while also training students both online and offline. She has served as faculty at the Future School of Performing and Sanjeevan Academy, where she has nurtured students in both classical and semi-classical forms.

Her teaching reflects a balance of discipline and creative exploration. She is particularly drawn to the emotional meditative depth of Hindustani music, and her design mood-based sessions that allow students and listeners to experience its transformative potential.
