Niranjan Bhalrao

Niranjan Bhalerao is an acclaimed Indian bansuri player, dedicated teacher, and the director of Krishnakunj Bansuri Gurukul. A disciple of the eminent flautists Pandit Keshav Ginde and Pandit Rajendra Kulkarni, Niranjan has honed his craft with discipline, devotion, and deep musical sensitivity. Recognized as an All India Radio ‘B’ grade artist, he has earned accolades for his artistry in both classical and light music. His innovative approach extends beyond performance, as he integrates bansuri into meditation therapy, working under medical guidance to explore its healing potential.

Career & Performances

Niranjan has graced prestigious music festivals including Ajintha Ellora Mahotsav, Pandit Pannalal Ghosh Mahotsav (Pune), Bharatratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Mahotsav (Maharashtra Government), and Sharangdev Mahotsav, among many others. His talent extends to bansuri accompaniment in Bollywood and television. Notably, he played in Anurag Kashyap’s Bollywood film Sab Moh Maya Hai and TV serials like Lado (Colors TV), Constable Manju (Sun Marathi), and Appi Amchi Collector (Zee Marathi). Niranjan has performed extensively across Goa, Mumbai, Gujarat, Kolkata, Assam, Vrindavan, Kedarnath, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.
In addition, he leads the Meditation with Flute initiative, offering therapeutic flute sessions as part of ongoing medical research on music therapy.
