Gargi Dange

Gargi Dange is a highly accomplished and passionate Kathak dancer with over a decade of training and performance experience. Under the expert guidance of Guru Vedanti Bhagwat Mahadik, she specializes in the Jaipur and Lucknow Gharanas, continuing the rich legacy of renowned mentors like Smt. Madhurita Sarang, Guru Rajashree Shirke, and Pt. Rajendra Gangani Ji.

Her artistic journey extends into classical vocal music, where she is training under Guru Medha Paranjape in the Lucknow and Gwalior Gharanas, following the traditions of Shri D.V. Jadhav and Guru Smt. Padma Talwalkar.

A strong believer in perseverance and growth, Gargi combines her expertise in dance and music with her natural ability to mentor and inspire students. She currently serves as an Assistant Dance Instructor at Layom Institute of Arts & Media, where she also conducts her own classes, choreographs performances, and participates in corporate and cultural events.

I am a trained Kathak dancer with a degree of kathak visharad. Also I am a practitioner of classical vocal. I have my own dance classes. I have performed on various national and international platforms as well as won various competitions. I have been a part of various dance productions as well. I have been working in the field for last 10 years.

• First prize in Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth's classical dance competition

• Third prize in Akhil Natrajam Sanskrutik Sangh (Member of International Dance Council)

• Third prize in the Solo & Duet in Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh (ABSS) (UNESCO)

• Second prize in Wing's Dance Academy Classical competition.

• Participated in COEP, Symbiosis college Dance Competitions, Nrutyaranjani Dance competition, Kalanubhuti Dance Competition.

• Kathak Visharad completed.
