Shri Arun Chitale
I teach khayal singing in Hindustani style and I teach it both ways.
1) Guru-mukhi Vidya is the method of learning by sitting in front of the Guru. (This is more tactile.)
And
2) Through electronic media. (online)
Some of the features of my singing are as follows:1) Navarasbhari Rasavahi Khayal Gaiki - 9 Rasas described by ancient sages in art and literature, (Shant, Bhaya, Veer, Aweeb, Sringar Rasa .. etc.) One or more of these Rasas must be seen through the bandhis and cheeses of every raga. The properties and characteristics of those rasas and the techniques of their expression and the effects of the rasas on the body and mind are explained in detail.
2) Anavat and beautiful ragas (like Hemant, Jogeshwari, Rajeshwari, Sivakansa etc.) are taught.
3) Difficult but very beautiful ragas (like Sri, Kaushikanda, Todi, Marva etc.) are taught.
4) Lajjatdar and lakhakdar taal (like adachautal jhumra tilwada delayed metaphor etc.) are taught its limitations.
5) Popular beautiful ragas like Bageshree Bhimplas Malkans are also taught.
