Ekta Sandbhor

Mrs. Ekta Sandbhor Patil is an Odissi Dancer from Pune. She has given performances for various cultural festivals in Pune. She is also a visiting faculty dance instructor for cultural programs of various schools around Pune & at NCSU, USA. She has achieved Excellence certificate from SPIC MACAY & UNC (USA) in Indian Classical dance educators training. She has also conducted Odissi master classes at NCSU dance program, North Carolina USA.

She has performed for below given festivals and has also received applaud of appreciation from her audience : Saptarangi kala Avishkar at Symboisis auditorium Pune, Nrityotsav festival Pune, Mancha Pravesh performance at Saptashrungi Mahalaxmi Mandir, Mahatma Phule Auditorium - Classical Dance Festival, Navaratri Mahotsav Pune, Debanshi festival Odisha, Jaipur Sangeet Mahavidyalaya festival Rajasthan, (Kalashray Manch & Utkalika Online festivals.), Bhakti Revival festival, Ganesh Utsav North Carolina USA, Lake city summer Festival Seattle USA….to name a few.

Along with giving performance, with the blessings of her Guru, Ekta is imparting Odissi training to the aspiring dance students through her institute Nrutyanirmiti Odissi. Nrutyanirmiti Odissi Dance Institute is registered under MSME Government of India & is a registered Odissi dance exam center under Surabharati Sangeet Parishad International exam board & University of Arts Music - conducts Odissi dance exams regularly. She is currently staying in Seattle, Washington , USA.

Ekta ji has been awarded with prestigious Bhakti Narthaki title from International Shiva Community at Bhakti revival festival.

 Ekta ji Awarded with Women Icon Award 2022 by Women’s World Records on International Women’s Day for Appreciable work in the field of Odissi Dance & Teaching.

Ekta ji attended Odissi dance workshops conducted by Odissi Gurus like Guru Sujata Mohapatra, Guru Parwati Dutta, Dr. Kaustavi Sarkar, Guru Ratikant Mohapatra, Padmashree Guru Ranjana Gauhar. SPIC MACAY & UNC (USA) Indian Classical dance educators training workshop with excellence certificate.

Ekta is imparting Odissi training to the aspiring dance students through her institute Nrutyanirmiti Odissi . 

Ekta ji also got a chance to learn  - Mangalacharan  Ganesh vandana, Batu nritya, Basant pallavi, Kamodi pallavi, Shrita kamala, Dashavatar & Hari Riha/Chandan Charchita - Ashtapadis from Gitagovida of Jayadeva, Namo Devi Mangalacharan, Shankaravarnam Pallavi, Moksha, Saveri pallavi, Sakhi he, Khedhe Chanda Janelo sahi, Leela Nidhi hey (Odia Abhinaya Champu ), Ki NadaRe Prana Sangini, Megh pallavi, Ardhanareshwara, Mohana Pallavi, Pada Vande Gananath Mangalacharan, Kirwani Pallavi, Radha Rani sange nache Murlipani & Sangini re Chahan Venupani ki (Odia Abhinay) & Arabhi pallavi.
