Biography

Siri Rajesh Kini is Bharatanatyam dancer from Mysore. Having shown her brilliance in academics and dance and ability in both with remarkable ease, Siri is the right amalgamation of brain full of technology and heart full of Bharatnatyam. Bhartnatyam form, is the supreme art form which skilfully embodies the three primary elements of Dance: Bhavam, Ragam and Talam. siri is the daughter of Dr. Rajesh Kini, administrative medical officer general hospital, Honavar and Dr. Rekha Kini. Siri is fascinated to bharatnatyam from her toddlerhood.

Along with dancing, Siri is a good singer and has also won many prizes in numerous singing and bhajan competitions at school and college levels is adding another feather to her crown. She is the receipient of Blue belt in Karate. She is quite good at playing Guitar and singing. A part from classical dance, she has also won prizes in monoacting and elocution competitions which includes First place in District level Fancy dress competition in Pratibhakaranji.

Her mono acting act of Kittur chennamma and Thyakare was well appreciated by renowned poet and writer of Karnataka, Mr. Jayant kaikini. Having shown her brilliance in academics and dance and ability in both with remarkable ease, Siri is the right amalgamation of brain full of technology and heart full of Bharatnatyam.

Career

Siri ji has performed at many places like Malenadu utsava Sharavati utsava Sahyahadri utsava,Kumata Utsav Gangubai hangal birth centensaarv. Kumta Habba, Kannada Habba, Sharada Mahotsava, Vishwa Konkani mahotsavaa, Gurudeva national level - dance and music festival at Jaganmohana palace at Mysore, Janmastami celebration at lskon temple and many more cultural events all over Karnataka and India. She has also won several prizes in classical dance at different places.

Siri ji's Bharatantyam Rangapravesha was staged on 4th May 2014. She has also given a solo stage event called Noopura Siri In which she has performed a Solo Dance Drama Navarasa Panchali choreographed by her Guru Dr. Sahana Bhat. Which was well appreciated.

Siri ji has perfonmed in Dance dramas like Ramayana, Mahabharat, Natyotpatti, Karnatak- Vaibhava, Samudra Manthana , Krishna Tulabhara, Punyakoti, Navarasa Panchali with her guru..

Siri's illustrious performances are so effected in her achievements that so for she has given more then 125 stage shows.

Awards & Achievements

Siri ji has proved her dancing skills as a tough competitor to others and received various prizes some of which are - First place in district level 's kalapratibhotsava conducted by kannada and Cultural Department, Second and First place in District level pratibhakaranji respectively in the year 2016 and 2017 Kala Hejje Gejje State level award by Kala Mitra Vedike Trust, Kumta.
