   Biography
A Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer and teacher, Tirtha commenced her dance education at the age of five. She began pursuing dance professionally after high school and has since completed her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, majoring in Bharatanatyam and Master’s in International Art Management. With a Visharad in dance, she has been the recipient of several national level awards and scholarships. With over two decades of national and international performance experience and a decade of teaching experience, Tirtha has initiated and groomed hundreds of students into the art of Bharatanatyam. 
 Tirtha commenced her dance education at the age of 5 under the able guidance of Guru Smt. Raji Vishwanathan and Guru Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan of Soundarya Natya Kalalaya Foundation, Mumbai. She has been a recipient of several scholarships some of which include- The Young Talent Artist Promotion Scholarship from the Government of Tamil Nadu; The Annual Government of India Scholarship by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Government of India; The Gurukul Anubhav Scholarship through Spic Macay wherein she had the opportunity to spend one month with Bharatanatyam maestro Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar (Padma Bhushan Awardee) and learn from him. Winner of various other awards and competitions at an inter-college, state and national level, she has been conferred the titles of Nritya Shivali and Yuva Rasika Sitara, to name a few.

   Career
To Enable Students to Explore and Express
 In 2010, Tirtha inaugurated a franchise of Soundarya Natya Kalalaya Foundation in Thane. As the Artistic Director of this branch she has taught over 75 students and conducted 3 Arangetrams. In addition to this, Tirtha has served as the Assistant Teacher to the IIT Powai, Mulund, and Ghatkopar branches of Soundarya Natya Kalalaya Foundation, cumulatively training over 300 students. She focuses on a unique model of training that is intuitive and interactive, constantly ideating new initiatives that can enhance the student’s learning process.
