Ratish combines the finest professional management skills with a passion for music and a commitment to the cause of Indian music and its practitioners. This rare combination of musical prowess, business management skills and a vision for the future of Indian music did not evolve overnight. It began at the very tender age of 9 years. 

Insync Music Awards – Ratish’s next dynamic initiative is something all artistes will aspire for. That is first ever complete classical music awards which will recognize acknowledge the renowned and upcoming artists in Indian classical music segment.

In his teen years however, the boy expressed a strong desire to learn the violin. And so, the violin it was that became an inseparable part of Ratish’s persona. The violin virtually dictated the course of his life and how his personality developed over the years.

His served the corporate world as Company

 Secretary for over a quarter century, but eventually his passion for music overtook all other considerations. In fact, his career reached the high point of personal fulfillment with distinctive endeavors dedicated solely to Indian classical genres.

Perfect Octave Media Projects Limited :  Perfect Octave has been in business of organizing concerts and performances in Indian performing arts since inception. Perfect Octave has been able to distinguish itself and get nearly all the nation’s top maestros to perform under its banner.  It has also made commercial releases (audio CDs) of Indian classical music and is building the world’s largest library of copyrighted content of Indian classical music featuring. Ratish is currently Promoter-Director of Perfect Octave Media. 

Insync : A Perfect Octave initiative India’s first satellite-based 24×7 Television channel dedicated to music genres such as Hindustani, Carnatic, Devotional, Sufi, fusion, Ghazals as well as traditional Dance forms. On 15 August 2014, Insync completed 1 year and is now being beamed into more than 10 million Indian homes. Insync also has built up approx. 500 hours of HD video content showcasing more than 700 maestros and the finest talents in Indian classical genres. Ratish is Founder & Managing Director of Insync.
