Biography

Kshama Agarkar _Kulkarni is a professional and promising Kathak Dancer with Dynamic energy and grace embodied in her that leaves her audience spellbound.

Kshama Is trained in Jaipur Gharana of Kathak since the tender age of 5, under the Tutelage of Guru Smt. Mukta Joshi[ Senior disciple of Padmashree Dr. Roshankumari ji ], at her institute “Nrityadhara”, Thane. She received training from Mukta Ji for 17 years.

She is very much attracted towards the personal idiom, classicism, and the bled of virtuosity and Abhinaya in the evolved dance style of Guru Sangeetacharya Nrityalankar Vaishali Dudhe. Since past 6 years , She is seeking guidance from Guru Vaishali Dudhe at her institute “Manjiri Nrityakala Mandir”, Dombivli.

Kshama has started her own Kathak Institute “ Nrityasadhana Kathak Nritya Kala Kendra” in Kalyan. Through her institute she not only imparts training in kathak but also organizes concerts, seminars and lecture _ demonstration by senior artists in Indian classical dance Kathak.

Kshama also works as the Kathak Faculty for Murlidhar Sangeetalaya since 2018. Besides this Kshama is also working as dance teacher for International Baccalaureate program at Garodia international center for learning. She also works as Examiner for Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’s Kathak examinations.

Career

Kshama Kulkarni is a professional and promising Kathak Dancer with Dynamic energy and grace embodied in her that leaves her audience spellbound

Since 2001, Kshama has been performing as one of the principal dancers in Nrityadhara troupe and has travelled and performed extensively with her Guru at various festivals, concerts, lectures and demonstrations both in India and abroad.

Since 2019 She has also been a member of International Dance council CID.

Besides being a performer , Kshama is a passionate teacher, and has been imparting training in kathak for over 14 years.

She has also assisted her Guru at Nrityadhara for 5 years.

Kshama also works as the Kathak Faculty for Murlidhar Sangeetalaya since 2018. Besides this Kshama is also working as dance teacher for International Baccalaureate program at

Garodia International centre for learning Mumbai. She also works as Examiner for Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’s Kathak examinations.
